Hi There ...

Wondering why am I missing for the past weeks and what have I been up to???

 

Well .. I have been busy recently on my baking.. I would say, no more free time for exploring on different baking cause orders coming in on and off .. But it is a good thing for me and something which I'm looking forward to my goal as a full-time baker and to open a cottage feel store one fine day.

 

Almond Biscotti has been my everyday order which will never be missed every week. So over my weekends, it's all about baking the Almond Biscotti!!!  I would say.. This is my super number seller in Sugarlane cuppies . 

But not just baking Biscotti, their  few orders which has been product over the weeks. Will post it shortly. There might not be many picture as yet in the blog on my Facebook, But I would say, more pictures will be coming up in August. Do LIKE me on my Facebook to see my made with love Bakes.

As everyone know, The largest flagship FrancFranc Store was opened at Vivo City. I love all the things in there. A place where you can find interesting things in there. From Furniture, stationery, Culinary and many more.  

I resist myself from buying too many things. Buying will only start when I have my new home ^.^

So I have only bought a pair of  Baker Mitts .. It took me sometime to decide which color to buy. 

Ended up i bought Blue with Dusty Pink Trim. Don't you think their pretty? There even comes with matching apron too. Drop by Vivo City and pick out all the interesting buy in there.

My Bakes ... Studying for Great Recipe for Tweaking

I love searching for nice & great music while I'm surfing or studying thru my bakery books that I've bought recently. 

I do not have many copies of books about baking. Unlike now... Buying more baking books became my hobby..  Searching for the best recipe thru different books & making a comparison on the ingredient & tweak! But of cause after tweaking it will be baking trial time ^.^

I would claim I'm still in midst of searching for the best of the best recipe for My SugarLaneCuppies. I'm very thankful for my friends who have help to spread thru words of mouth, more people are placing orders from me since last month. 

I will explore even deeper for a better recipe and create my own signature cuppies or cake. The following song is to tell myself I won't give up even if there is any set back.

My Bakes .. Baileys Shortbread Cookie

Instead of the traditional Shortbread cookie, I have tweak my recipe by adding Baileys in it. 

The light flavor of baileys simply spread in your mouth after bites..  

My friends love the texture .. Hope you will like it too ...

My Bakes .. Marble Cake

My very first attempt baking a marble cake in a bundt pan. Don't you think their pretty? 

I like how it looks and I served this cake plain. But you can always dust with Powered Sugar, Cocoa Powder or cover with a Chocolate Ganache.  

Look! How beautiful the batter looks before baking ... 

After baking for 35min and turn over ... Look at the beautiful marble cake after turned over. 

So pretty ! I love the texture. It's moist from inside and fluffy ..
