Hours of Final Countdown

Final count down of 20 hours to dd's return tomorrow. So happy... 

Time flies.. I start a count down from Day 76 and tomorrow is dd's return.

Hope dd will have a safe flight tomorrow. I have so many things to share with you. 

Looking forward to lots of feast & yummy food with you too ..  

I will be receiving many presents from dd for myself and baby. But the most important is

my cupcake & donut maker. hehe ..

Day 14

It's another 2 weeks away from dd's return. I'm so delighted & counting down.

Today was a happy day for me. I managed to make a reservation at Dazzling Pink for 31st Dec'11. So looking forward to enjoy my first toast there & taking beautiful pic of the food there.

Today has been a shopping day for dd. He bought me a my new 2012 hello kitty desk calendar. 

Yuppie! I do not need to look for one already ;) 

Looking back at the pictures & realize dd bought be lots of things during his stay in Rockhampton.

Day 21

Today is exactly 3 weeks away from dd's return. Yuppie! I'm so delighted. 

Time really flies. He has been there for close to 2mths. I remember when I start the count down was from Day 76 but today, it's already Day 21 ^.^ don't you think time flies? 

As days gets closer, dd will be busier doing all the pack up of the equipments which was set up earlier.

Well, I'm looking forward to the day of his returned.. We can start out picnic & outing again with our baby again.. 

There isn't much to share with everyone of any great find in Rockhampton. Cause the team has been cooking in the apartment for the past few days. So it;s more likely on groceries shopping.

Day 24

Finally after a long break & hasn't been blogging about dd's fun time that he have been spending for the last 24 days in Rockhampton. Let's see what we got here!

Teochew porridge for dinner... With 2 Giant pot of porridge.. I think that's a lot to finished. 
 I miss this.. Gotta make this next week for dinner. 

DD visited Hog's Breath Cafe - Australia's Steakhouse at Rockhampton

Prime Rib Steak is their signature main dish which you have to try if you happen to go to this cafe at Chijmes. Check out the interior in Rockhampton. It's different from the one in Chijmes. 

Day 30/29

Yuppie!! dd is coming back real soon. Another 29 days from now. 

The countdown is getting closer. 

Let me talk about dd ... Haha ... Ytd has been a fruitful day for him. 
Day off to Yeppoon again .. Great lunch at Shiokaze Restaurant. This round there's a great find!! 
Super duper cute pup from a shop. Don't you think he's rally very cute ?  Not just that! dd found a scrapbooking shop there. But it was closed that day but the store was on it's such petty... 
After all the great fun dd have .. It's home cook food time ... Check this out .. 

Day 34

Hasn't been blogging for the past 2 days. Was busy doing my stuff. How about you gals? Having lots of fun? Yuppie!!! It's 12 more min to TGIF...  

I'm going outing with my scrappie girlie. From Arab Street, Bugis to Orchard ... I'm looking forward to Orchard cause we're going for Chongqing Hotpot! Yummy !!! This is one of my fav. food..

Think of it, I missed HK hotpot so much. But will be there soon ... Hehe ... 

My dd has been busy lately so I couldn't write much about what has he been doing. But I know he's happy, doing well & eat well. Looking at all the home cook food from his album, it looks so yummy ... So I'm going to cook something this weekend too.. Hehe ..

Day 37 - Soap Making Day (New Hobby !!!!)

Today is definitely not a Blue Monday for me. I had a great start today. Enjoying Soap Making this afternoon ... It's so fun!!! Love it & looking forward for more. I show dd & he said it's cute. I think he's impressed! I'm looking forward to make a pair of baby girl shoes for my niece, large bears, large hello kitty, with duo colors, Xmas Trees, Sheep & many more ... I'm going to get the Mica powder to dust on the soap which I made. Can't wait for the next class which I'm going to attend. Intermediate here I come !!!!!

Basic workshop is $ 35.00 (45-60min)

You'll be given a 250gm soap base (chose either solid or clear soap) can made up to 5-8pcs depending on the mould you have chosen. All other ingredient & tools will be provided during the workshop.  

Intermediate is $ 148.00 (180 - 300min )

You'll be given a 1kg soap base (chose either solid or clear soap) Of cause this can be made up to more than 10-15 pieces of bigger project or even more (depending on the mould) You can mixed varies of colors for intermediate class. This is definitely more interesting comparing to basic.  I'm planning to attend this workshop soon. How about you ???

Check out the pictures which I have taken by steps to show everyone. This is the final product when it's completed & seal in the clear plastic. 

Number 1 Rule: Wash hand before starting. These are all the things which are required before starting.

Chose the mould ...

You'll need veg. glycerin 10ml, Vitamin E 1ml followed by 5ml essential Oil. (for 250gm soap base) 

Measure 10ml veg. glycerin, 1ml Vitamin E, droplets of coloring which you desire into this mixture

Chop up the soap base in small pieces 

Place it on a boiler 

Wait till it's fully melted, 

Pour soap base into the Jar with the ingredient which we've mixed earlier, followed by essential oil

Once ready, pour them into the mould & ready to set

Here you go... Completed Handmade Soap.

Day 39/ 38

There it goes .. Starting to count down from 30s. The day dd is coming back is drawing closer.

I'm wondering if dd will missed the time he spend in Rockhampton after coming back to SG ( ◕ڡ◕ ) 

  

dd had a great time last night at the foam party. I saw a picture which was capture by The Republick. 

The foam was huge ... Haha ...

Flea Market day today ... dd woke up early & visited the flea stores. The stores open from 6am - 10am every Sunday. WoW!!! That's early.. 

Guess what I saw from the Flea?? Martha Steward Punches & scrapbooking stuff. 

dd was really nice. He took varies of picture & load them on FB for me to see what's they're selling & if I need anything. But the items are 20% higher than SG. So i didn't ask dd to buy anything. But he gotten something for me from the scrappy corner. He gotten me a 12x12 pattern paper pad & 2 set of stamps..

Day 40

WoW!!! It's TGIF !!! Yuppie!!! 

It's another time off for dd.. dd hasn't being loading pictures. Check out dd's new Walaby friend.. KANGAROO. He even took pictures of them. They're so cute. 
dd bought so many Surprise Kinder Chocolate. Guess what are the surprise inside? It's SMURFY!!!! So dd have collected quite a nos of them. I'm gotta get those repeated ones from him.
