FrancFranc World In Town

As everyone know, The largest flagship FrancFranc Store was opened at Vivo City. I love all the things in there. A place where you can find interesting things in there. From Furniture, stationery, Culinary and many more.  

I resist myself from buying too many things. Buying will only start when I have my new home ^.^

So I have only bought a pair of  Baker Mitts .. It took me sometime to decide which color to buy. 

Ended up i bought Blue with Dusty Pink Trim. Don't you think their pretty? There even comes with matching apron too. Drop by Vivo City and pick out all the interesting buy in there.

From the past one month, I have been busy with my new objective for the year. Partly this is the reason why I have not been visiting my blog & update everyone on the for The Fashion Runway Collection for Fall/ Winter & How about my Scrapbooking? 

I had a great time for the past one month with my friends gathering & dinning out in nice restaurants. It is really great to have friends that are not boastful over themselves and we can simply share & talk everything openly. Really Love this feeling. Let me sort out my thoughts & think what should I be writing & start posting ...

Something to Keep me Pretty

After several weeks, finally I met up with my dear friend. We had our favorite & yummy Teppanyaki for lunch. Though we didn't have much time to chat or shopping, it's a nice one to see her again. 

Look what I've got for me !!!! Lots of MASKS !!!!

Varies of brands & treatment. This whole gift pack come with a Haagen Dazs Voucher too. Finally, something surprise me with a WOW!!!! It was a Lucent Pink Lipstick from Lunasol. I really love it very much. It's a shimmery sheer pink lipstick. Love it!!! Gotta use it tmr ... Hehe ...

What a wonderful trip for 10 Days

I would like to thank my dd giving this wonderful trip to me as a gift. 

Though I have planned our initial route but he've filled in all great programs in between to ensure this trip is fruitful. DD really play a very big role for this trip. He planned every single placed which he thinks I will like and bring me there. Regardless for food or places. 

With him around I have no fear of the direction too cause dd is the directory map ^.^

Day 10 .. 8th Jan 2012

Today is the last day in Taipei and we'll be leaving to the airport at 3.30pm. 

After our check out, we have some time before the driver come & pick us. So we went 西門町 again. My cute dd bought himself a charcoal knitted beanie & start wearing after he paid for it. As for me, I bought 2 boxes of donuts from Mister Donut. One for the myself & the other for the Hotel Staff.  I really love their hospitalilty thats why I got them something before we leave.  

I've never tried their donuts when we were there. But when I get back & tried on the following day, it's was so yummy. Regretted not buying one more box. 

Here we are at the airport after our check in. We went for a quick bite at Burger King. Look what I've ordered. Set for 2. It's so yummy and juicy comparing to the one we had in Singapore. We couldn't finish the whole meal so i pack them into a bag & brought them on board. Partly because we're running out of time. Hahahaha ..  

Wooo ... We're on board and going up up & away ...

Day 9 .. 7th Jan 2012

Here we are .. Melange Cafe 米朗琪咖啡館 is located at 中山區中山北路二段16巷23號

This cafe do not take reservation unless for dinner time from 5 - 8pm. 

Try to go early to avoid crowd as it starts between 12-1pm and waiting time is about 1.5 - 2hrs. But we're lucky that day though we were there around 12.30pm. We've only waited for 30-40mins & got a table

Melange is famous in Waffle. Beside waffles, there served Salad, Sandwiches and Pizza too.

I would claim, the food are served Fresh and Hot. Really loved & missed all the food right now. 

It's so yummy. Love to be there soon again .. ^.^ 

Rating for this cafe is 4.5/5 (there's always room to improve even if their already very good)

The wait is worth it!!! Thumbs Up to Melange. 

Today's lunch was a treat by dd's cousin. Lucky they love & enjoy the food, otherwise I will feel so bad asking them to go to a place where they don't cater good food. 

After our lunch, we've parted to do our things. So dd and myself went around visiting different places before we go home tomorrow. 

Look at the menu from Melange. It's a newspaper look alike. The food are so yummy.

I have ordered Hot Matcha and dd ordered a Hot Fruit Tea. 

This is a must have when you're there. "Strawberries Waffle" I still can remember how it taste when I cut the first bite. Hot Fresh & Yummie!!!

This is the Seafood Salad which I mentioned earlier. Fresh Seafood & the greens are so fresh too. We've have also ordered their Club Sandwich & Tuna Sandwich. Again, the food are superb!

Day 8 .. 6th Jan 2012

Today is a little different .. Hehe .. DD's cousin & hubby came to pick us up from our hotel to a American  Burgers "FORKERS"at Zhongshan North Road.

DD's cousin & myself were not hungry so the both of us did not order any main course by a side and dessert. 

The Casear Salad was really fresh! I love how it was served with the sauce. The tiramisu cake was awesome. Light, Fluffy, not too Sweet and yet Juicy. Love it! I can have 3 serving if time allows ohh. Haha .. We had a great time catching up in the restaurant too. 

Classic Caesar Salad - Crisp romaine lettuce with our house recipe Casear dressing with croutons, bacon and Parmesan cheese, tomatoes and onions - Small $230NT / Large $230NT

Hot Chicken Wings - Crispy marinated Chicken wings tossed in American style Red Hot Sauce. Served with Tzatziki sauce and vegetable sticks - $150NT

Hack Burger - "Crazy like the man" This burger is topped with cheese, chicken finger slices, bacon and smothered with honey mustard sauce 

Set $290NT (comes with a choice of drink and a side dish)

The Monster Burger - Spicy Red hot sauce, blue cheese, fried onions, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and creamy ranch dressing

After our lunch, we went shopping. Again I bought Cosmetic and went City Super @ Sogo. 

Look!!! I bought the Spring 2012 collection from Jill Stuart during their first day launch. Eeeee ... So pretty !!!! Love Love Love !!!!

Day 7 .. 5th Jan 2012

Yawn !!! We woke up at 5.30am to catch our 7.45am High Rail Speed Train to Zuoying 左營
So hungry while we're on board but I'm still excited cause it's our first time taking 臺灣高鑄 together. 
The train travel up to 262km/hr. If you're hungry, food can be purchased when you are on board. Cause its an early morning so we fell asleep on board without buying any food. 

Finally, we've reached Zuoying Station after 2hrs. To get to E-Da Theme Park義大遊樂世界, take a shuttle bus outside Zuoying station about 20min drive to reach destination.

We're both hungry while waiting for the next shuttle to arrive. These conversation just came about between myself and dd: 

me: dd I'm hungry. Let me get you some food and while you're queuing ok?

dd: Are you sure you know the way to get there?

me: yes of cause. No worries I know my way to the Macdonal. But I left about 10mins, return empty handled cause I couldn't find my way to Macdonal  

dd: Look up there! Macdonal is at 3rd floor. Take the escalator then will take me there.

me: haha ... I took the escalator down to basement (MRT station) I'm so blur. 

Fare for  臺灣高鑄 is TWN 1490 and Shuttle Bus to E-DA is TWN 33

Here we are .. After our breakfast cum lunch at E-Da Theme Park義大遊樂世界Macdonal. When we arrive it was still early so there's not much crowd. So we went around taking lots of pictures. There's many rides in the theme park but because I'm scared of high risk rides so I dare not take. Poor dd just accompany me taking those kiddies ride. Thank you my best of the best dd ...

Before we went for our ferris wheel ride, we got ourself a stamp incase we need to re enter the theme park.  

I was so excited when dd say we're heading to the ferris wheel ride. 

When we're on the ride, I start taking pictures, laughing all the way. 

Unfortunately, when the ride gets higher and due to the wind direction it gets quite shakey and I was frightened at that point of time. Again, my poor dd is there to comfy me again. Just feel I'm so super lousy.

Well, when we're on ground we took numerous of picture outside the ferris wheel cabin. And the pictures turn out to be so pretty.

After the ride, we took the shuttle bus back to Zuoying Station. Due to the Jam, it takes about 30min to reach. Guess where did we go again? It's a night market in 高雄. DD ate lots of food again ohh.. But the most important, I'm always there to accompany my dd to finish some potion of what he order. So dd can have more variety of food to enjoy. We have also bought 1 dozen of BBQ cracker back home. It's so yummy.

Day 6 .. 4th Jan 2012

Today's lunch is out of Taipei City. I've made a reservation 1 month ahead cause it's always fully booked. They do not take walk in cause the among of food they prepared is base on the reservation list. 
We went all the way to 新北市 to have our awesome lunch at 食養山房 , 新北市汐止區汐萬路三段350巷7號 . 
We took a train from Taipei Station and switch to brown line and alight at Nehu Station 內湖. The restaurant is 15km away from the station and it takes approximate 35min for a Taxi to get there and the fare is about TWN330. 
This place was really awesome. Both of us had enjoy a wonderful and special lunch which we have never tried in Singapore. There's no menu so every dishes that was served are full of surprises. 
食養山房 is all about oriental, calligraphy, light, greenery, air, natural, breeze, warmth and cosy. 
DD is not the only one company me thru out the lunch. We've another company, he is 猫咪. He has been seating on my lap thru out our lunch. Partly because the weather was freezing cold and he need someone to give him warmth and he has chosen me .. Maybe he knows I will not reject him. ^.^

 After our lunch at 食養山房 we went to this mall.. Forgot which station to get there but will update. Cause most information is in dd's travel book ... 

This is a Explode Egg Cake. Haha ... When you bite on it, the chocolate lava will just flow out. But caution !!! Cause its very hot ohh.. !!! But I will love to eat this again when I'm there. It's really delicious. 

 This is one of the most popular potato which Guess variety show strongly suggest at 西門丁. We did tried. Indeed it's yummy. Not oily and filled with lots of ingredient in it ohh.. We brought this back to the hotel & eat while we watch TV show.
