Great Time with My Super Duper Frens

It has been a long time since I last met my dear friends and sistas. Everyone made the effort to turn up for the gathering last Wednesday even though the restaurant was located at Changi, The Costal Settlement / TCS
It has been a great catch up at this place. It's cosy, relax and you feel yourself at home. The service team was great!!! They were so warm, patient and you can simply engage in a conversation with them.
I love their Wings, Truffle Fries, Pizza (Thin crust and super yummy) & the Waffles Ice Cream for dessert. It was quite a late night after our catch up. Though everyone were tired, we had so much fun & laughter. Am so looking forward to the next one soon ...
PS : I hope dd will bring me there soon even if the next gathering is not going to take place there ^.^

Traditional Dim Sum @ Red Star Restaurant

It was a super duper early Yum Cha session with dd & the Goh family.
I hasn't been there for more than a decade since I last visited Red Star Restaurant located at Pearls Hill.
It's a traditional restaurant where you will see the waitress aunties pushing the trolley around your table asking if you like any dim sum from their trolley.
But I'd claim the standard has dropped compared to the past.
If I would visit again, it would be just for the traditional feel how it was served in the older days.
Check out some of the pic which was captured.

Coffee Star by Dao

I went for lunch at Coffee Stars by Dao this afternoon. Though we didn't manage to stay longer but the 3 of us had a great time with lots of laughter.
The food is really tasty. I really love the prawn mango salad. Not too spicy & yet yummy. I ordered a Tom Yum Prawn rice noodle, the spicy is just right for me. taste really authentic & I will visit this place again.
Rate: 4/5 "must try"

Nolboo Hangari Galbi (Orchard Central)

This is my first time having lunch @ Nolboo. This is a treat from my manager for our bday lunch with my colleague.
Before your main dish is served, Sesame porridge is provided as starter for every meal. It is suited to promote your appetite and fill up your empty stomach. It has a good salty taste followed by 6 side dishes.
They have something special BBQ stove. You will enjoy eating tidily with the stove.  As we've already ordered our main course so we gave that a missed.
But gotta try their BBQ during my next visit. Heard that it is the most popular menu with the customers which contains more than 30 kinds of special flavors. Vegetables and prawns are provided in a pot. In addition, all staffs of NB have been well-trained for broiling. All of them know how to broil the meat at best and serve it to the customers.
I ordered a Kimchi Hotstone Soup. It's kinda spicy but it's still yummy ^.^
The place is quiet & not too rowdy. Do check out this place for lunch or dinner.

Q-ing, Shopping, Hightea, Shopping, Dinner...

I had a fun & fruitful TGIF... "Double L" went Q-ing, Shopping.. Hightea.. Shopping.. & finally Dinner..
Ytd was the launched of iPhone 4S. We happened to meet at Bugis in the morning. Guess what?? Ended we're queuing together with for iPhone 4S. But she gotten hers earlier than me cause her service provider was from Starhub but mine was from Singtel. We both gotten 32gb White iphone4S for ourselves.  Have you gotten yourself one?

The photos resolution & colors was extremely fantastic for 4S. It can even capture fine detail. Don't you think that's really cool. I love taking picture anytime anywhere. So i decided to make a comparison over iPhone 4 vs 4S.
4S are able to capture more define detail than iPhone 4.
The base col for iPhone 4 is more yellowish. But 4S has a whiter base than 4. I assume that's the reason why the picture which was capture is more lively & you feel like a 3D especially when images was taken from a black background. You try it & you'll understand what I meant.
( Pretty in Pink with an icap )
After all the Q-ing, finally we start shopping for our things ... Haha ... We have so much fun @ Bugis Village & Orchard.. After all the walk, we finally decide to find a place for high tea & we chosen Arteatiq @Mandarin Gallery. I love the interior & ambience in this cafe.
We ordered Afternoon Treats Special & we both ordered English Hibiscus Tea. I'd claim the tea & the food was not as good as what we expected. It's kinda disappointment.
We both agreed the tea leaves are just an avg quality. If you've tried Tea from Cookie Museum @ Esplanade you'll understand what I meant. The afternoon treat which we've ordered are far too salty to enjoy except for the apple cake. Rating is just 2 out 5 ( for interior & ambiance)
Luckily our dinner make our day ... We had BiBiGo, a korean restaurant located @ raffles City. Do you know what does Bibigo means? In Korean means "to mix"and english "to-go". The Korea food was really good. I love what I have ordered, Spicy Seafood Soft Tofu Stew on Hot Stone & Leela ordered Chicken Kimchi Fried Rice. In additional we ordered Fried Mandoo as side dish. During our dinner, we've shared so much. The dinner was great & the outing was fantastic!
I'm going to bring dd there when he get back from Aus.
